This was a winery party I attended last year at the Robert Young Winery. The owner loved this picture so much, that she graciously invited me to spend the night at her house! (7/24 note - I was just informed that this tree had to be cut down. This picture is now a piece of history!)

You can't really see too well, since I lowered the resolution, but you really can see the stars in this picture. Orion's Belt is in frame. It was pitch black outside when I time-exposed this. That strange, icy cloud adds a nice effect.
